On Level Math: iReady Math Diagnostic and continuing with division Advanced Math: iReady Math Diagnostic and improper fractions and mixed numbers Reading: Identifying the theme in fiction texts Writing: Next week, we’ll begin our Literary Essay unit in writing. Please help your student pull some fiction books to read and analyze as we move through this unit. It would be great if they had a collection of books of different lengths (picture...chapter). The books can be realistic fiction, fantasy, historical fiction, or science fiction. Social Studies: Changes in America at the Turn of the Century--specifically relating to Westward Expansion, and the Industrial Revolution Friday, September 4th is SOAR Spirit Day - Encourage your child to wear our team color of BLUE Our student of the week this week is Carly Goldstein

What a great first week of virtual learning! Although the circumstances are not ideal, I appreciate everyone's patience as we navigate virtual learning. The class is doing such an AMAZING job!
